Hmmm...my Le Creuset French Oven will do the same thing for a lot less money since I got it on sale. Also, my claypot cooker was bought at a flea market for $8 and does a wonderful job roasting chicken.

I really like the chicken. But, DH got me the LC 'Defuet' in red for Christmas so I'm decidedly happy. In fact, I've got the filling for Ann T.'s Christmas Tourtiere simmering in it right now. Cooking with ice in the lid is a new experience for me...sorta fun.

That is a clever pot they made, but not in my price range!

I'm seriously thinking of getting this roaster. I can't decide between the standard Staub Matte Black or the enamel coated caramel color.
