Replace gas freestanding with induction?

I'm thinking of replacing a new gas range with an Electrolux EI30EF55GS induction range from the same store while I'm within the exchange/return period, but there is no 220 electric line.

I could get the line installed, but I'm concerned that the gas hookups might interfere with installation and pushing an electric range against the wall.

If the gas line is in the way, will cutting it back be a major project?

I didn't get the induction originally because there was no double oven induction and because using a griddle on an induction doesn't work well (even with a special griddle, you get hot and cold spots).

However, I'm thinking now that I could just buy an electric countertop griddle for the rare times I would need one and a combo convection/microwave could handle baking small items. I think the ease of cleaning the induction will outweigh not having double ovens and the middle burner/griddle on the gas range.

My counter space is at a premium now that I got rid of the OTR microwave for a Zephyrs hood, but the electric griddle could be stored in a cabinet.
