I did some similar but instead of the polyfiber fill I used potpourri in bayberry, ginger & cinnamon, pine, clove and orange. The aromas were very nice for the folk who had artificial trees. I think making tree ornaments is one of the neatest ways to use up many of the scraps of materials we generate all the time.

Really nice handiwork. You have a lot of patience to make up the piping. Love your combination of fabrics.

Sometimes I don't think my combination of fabrics are that great. I just make do with what I've got...LOL. Actually my least favorite one is the red plaid with Christmas trees and diagonal green stripes for the cuff. I think my favorite of those is the last one on the top row. Piping is not hard to make at all, and I didn't need but maybe 10" or so for each stocking. I made some changes to the picture. Maybe the colors will look a little better. I had a heck of a time taking these and trying to get them to look right.
