I did the snowman egg ornies after you posted them here, still put them on my tree and gave some to GF's.
Did alot of snowman pavers also and I still like doing them.
*sigh* I gotta get back into crafting again!
Its nice to see this forum more active than the past few months.

I think so too....for so long it was sooo slow...love to see it pick up some. I haven't been doing anything for about a year...getting the itch to craft again but need something new to get me going! I just cleaned out my sectiuon of the garage so now I can cut my wood again....now I just have to find the time!

Thanks for sharing those! Maybe it will inspire me to get busy crafting again. I love to do woodcraft but haven't done anything in a couple of years. Bettye

What did you use for the knit caps?
I thought if I had more time that I'd get back into crafting, but I quit my job last August and was home with lots of time the last holiday season and didn't get anything made except some items done with my embroidery machine.
I'm hoping to get started designing this year's Christmas card.

Your painting abilities are wonderful! I've heard of using old socks with the foot cut off for the knitted caps.

Thanks....Maryann I did use the tops of baby socks on the eggs....very cheap at the dollar stores!

LOVE the snowman blocks. Are they the glass blocks? Did you drill a hole and add lights or just use the block as your 'easel'? I would like directions and what type of paint you used & did you seal them? These would be perfect for my neighborhood craft class.Thanks!

the snowman are interlocking pavers I used regular craft paint and didnt seal them because they are inside and then dress them up with whatever. I used craft foam for my black brim. have fun!!

Sharon....did the same as gordon43812...they are very easy to make...let me know if you want the face patterns and I could send them to you...I sealed mine just to give them a shine. Sprayed them with clear acrylic glossy sealer. And the hat is craft foam.....

Vicki I love all of your projects but I think my favorite is the snowman ornaments. Did I read this right... they are eggs? What kind did you use? The plastic ones you get at Hobby Lobby etc? Before I read everyone's response I thought they may be light bulbs. You do wonderful painting. I've painted several gourds with flowers and insects but I still haven't tackled faces yet. Did you mention you had patterns?

gluecille, the eggs are wooden and I got them at Michale's...very easy to do. I do have the face patterns for the pavers if you'd like to have them.....if you want me to send them to you let me know.....this may work..it did last year for everyone.

Oh and the eggs faces I just made up as I went along!

I also screwed a little eye hook into the top and tied the string for hanging before I added the sock/hat.....

I know this is an old post but I just found it! Would love to see the pictures of the projects if they are still around.
