That was profitable !!! Seems like those rainy cold days bring out the shoppers. Now you HAVE to do another one - you still have stock to sell ! Congratulations :)

Congratulations, I think it sounds like you did pretty good for a first show.

I think you did very good for a first show. The one I did Sat. wasn't as well attended as last year, but the temp was 75 degrees, sunny and too nice to be inside! I sold some things that I had been carrying to shows for about 3 years and some things that were new so you never know! You might do a show next week and sell out of dangit dolls! Change your display around so your dolls can be seen better and that will probably help. Do Not give up so easy. :o)

Sounds pretty good for your first show..

Sounds like you had did a great show for your first time. Did you happen to notice what "wasn't" being sold and can get some ideas of what to make or have for your next show?

For your first show I think you did excellent! You learned more than you think you did. You saw other displays and how the other exhibitors worked their booths. Now sit back wirth a paper and pencil and jot down your memories of the other booths that impressed you. And keep a running book of ideas. You may want to incorporate some into your booth.

I did my first show in May of 1980. I made all of $20.00! But I was hooked.
