Marie...I have scanned and printed some of my favorite fabrics and cut it in small scale quilt pieces. I make quilt pictures with them and frame them...8x10 size....I glue the pieces on a piece of card stock and tie them like a quilt. them frame them....They look just like a quilt.

My daughter has an old weather step ladder in her living room and has a quilt hanging on it , a couple of vining plants and one of my pictures of a quilt sitting on the top...Looks real cute.

How cute patti do you have any pictures??

I'd love to see a picture, too, please!

Sorry...I don't have a pic of her living room...but I could probably take a pic of one of my pictures...I'm kind of slow at this...lol

Patti - love your idea for the "quilts". I can barely sew a straight line so making a real quilt is not something I am venturing to do even though I love quilts. Thanks for your idea, now I can piece together a paper quilt.

I'll try to get a pic within the next couple of day...I have to put another one together.

patti.....(don't give up on me...lol)

Thanks patti for your great instructions. I'm going to try it out and let everyone know how it turns out.

you are welcome Minnie....

I made up a bunch of "kits" a few years ago for some homeless women to do at the mission...I still had the instructions but they were kind of scattered...I found most of them , so I copied them and sent them to you....I just haven't had time to get one together....It the old saying...the faster I go the behinder I get....I'm alway time stressed at Christmas...lol

But if we keep this post around I promise I will still get a pic posted...if you don't beat me too it...lol
