I have a new Janome 350e. I understood when I bought the machine that I could just pick an image online, transfer it to the USB, put the USB in my embrooidery machine, and stitch the design. NOW, over $1500.00 later, I learn that I have to have some kind of very expensive software to convert the image before putting it into my machine??? Is this true? Any recommendations? I was told that the best software was as much as the machine! I can't go there! I would really, REALLY appreciate some reliable advice and help!

You can use these if you need to convert designs from one format to another. Example, pes to jef.
