memory stick

20 years ago

I forgot and left my digital camera in my car with the memory stick in it. It was in there for about a week or two. I took some pictures inside the church and the pictures were kind of blurred. I realize I did not stand and focus while taking the pictures. What could have caused slightly blurred pictures? Should I order another memory stick?

It's not the Memory Stick. If it were a problem, you likely would not be able to view the pictures at all (the picture files would have been corrupted). It is far more likely that one of the following happened:

- camera was not held steady as the shot was taken;
- camera could not auto-focus itself in the light conditions it encountered;
- light was too low for the ISO ("speed") setting that was in place at the time and the shutter was open so long that the picture blurred from your motion or the subject's.

Hi steve, I just wanted you to know that you are right . Nothing is wrong with the memory stick. I was not focusing the camera correctly. Thanks so much for your expert help.
