A space is a "-" at the end of the alphabet in my Brother machine.

Or maybe it is '_' I cannot remember w/o looking, and it is early here for me. Sorry. It is one of those symbols.

On my Janome 350e, at the end of the alphabet, there are two rectangles (one small and one larger) that are the spaces.

Underscore (âÂÂ_âÂÂ) will help you, to add space between the words. You can easily create sentence with the help of this.
