Embroidery design on a knot bag?

Has anyone ever put an embroidery design on a Japanese knot bag? I'm thinking of making one as a gift and she loves machine embroidery. but it needs to be an "everyday" design. If you've made one and have a picture please post it! Would love some inspiration.
