FWIW, I have had 2 Klaussner sofa & loveseat sets in my family room and they are truly poor quality. I thought the first set was a fluke-misformed cushions, etc due to the looseback style I chose. I am 5 years into this set, and it has been looking crappy for a couple years now-tons of broken springs, misformed cushions, and this is a pretty tailored set. I would definitely recommend staying away-I will never purchase another Klaussner set.

I have a Klaussner Chair and a half sleeper that I have had about 5 years now, has down wrapped cushions which you have to turn and plump regularly but that is what you are supposed to do. They bed in it has held up well with lots of use and the unit is still very comfortable No broken anything on it, and we are 250 lb people some of whom throw themselves into furniture.

Now that said I just yesterday bought a new sofa which is a Miles Talbot, have to wait and see how that one holds up over time.

What does Klaussner use to make its frames?

Also, where are its upholstery pieces manufactured?

Since this info is not on its web site, I'm guessing the answers to these questions are not kiln-dried hardwood and not in the US, respectively.

I am ready to buy a klaussner sleeper sofa. I am on a tight budget, and the price for a queen sleeper with an upgraded 6 inch sealy posterpedic mattress is $699. It will only get occassional use as a sleeper & moderate use as a sofa. I need some fast feed back
