I have 2ea sears 1/2 HP, model#139.53627SRT units. Both units will not close without holding the wall button down.

They will move briefly and stop when closing using the remotes. The sensors are clean and aligned. There is no problem opening using the remotes or wall button. Only when closing.

Also, the light does not function any more on one unit.

They are about 14 years old...

Any recommendations?
