my question is i have a craftsman garage door opener model 139.53615sr its a 1/2 hp opener .I was wondering if it is possible to install photoeyes on this opener ?i have a set of photo eyes that did not come with the opener but would like to install them if at all possible, due to we have a child living with us now.opener was made in 1991 i do believe.any help would be appreciated thank you.

At the time the door sensors came out Sears had a kit to upgrade some older models but that was at least 15 years ago. Your best bet would be to buy a new opener. Your present opener is about 5 years past its prime.
