RH is one of the few catalog companies who's items are worth the price IMO. Their casegood lines are almost entirely USA made. You can call them and ask about this specific piece. The wood finishes are gorgeous. I have a side table and it's by far the nicest piece of furniture I've ever gotten from a catalog or department store. They also have really good customer service and warranties. I emailed about a 2yo chair that needed a minor fabric repair. They emailed within 48 hrs that they would send me a brand new chair to replace it. No arguements, no run around, no problem.

    Angc,

Do you know if the same (i.e. made in the USA) applies to their bathroom furniture? Is it also good quality - as compared to PB for instance?

I find that RH is hands down way better than PB in every department. I have bought a Rug from PB and not impressed at all. Will never buy from PB,,.

I just purchased the RH Camden round dining table, hutch and sideboard, and I'm waiting on some chairs. They are very nice quality, and I've received tons of compliments on the set, but there were "Made in China" stickers on every piece:(

The quality is definitely superior to PB. HTH!

I have bought two leather chairs, a desk, a Marston nightstand, and an ottoman from RH. Very happy with all purchases.
The nightstand was a little bit of a disappointment though. The sales person wrapped it in bubble wrap. When I got it home, the finished was marred with a "polka dot" pattern from the bubble wrap! I have tried waxing, but no help. RH customer service left a message yesterday asking if I was happy with purchase...I will post later their response.
IMO, RH surpasses PB in quality and design. RH is more classic - most pieces are made in USA of native woods. I think of PB as more trendy (maybe more transient?) furniture made mostly with tropical woods..
