I have linear LS050 garage door opener. Recently i have replaced the limit switch.
I have a question -

In my case belt joint (HBT inner side assembly) is close to motor end. Now after replacing the limit switch (limiter was close to open end), when i am pressing up or down it is going towards motor. In this situation i have unplugged the power source, because belt joint will be damaged if it goes close to sprocket. How can I make it move to reverse direction? What is the trick behind it? I tried to open the limit switch then placing the limiter to close end but it didnt help. The belt goes in same direction.
