Imperial Dining Table

I spent Labor Day weekend refinishing the table my father grew up with. Under the blackened layers of varnish was a beautiful tiger oak table. I was saddened to remove the maker's decal as I was stripping the split pedestal base. It was a little shield emblem that read "Imperial, Grand Rapids, Michigan." The table is round with a split pedestal type base, a thick lip under the top, and four leaves. It is all tiger oak. If it ever had a set of chairs, it does not now; we are using a set from my other grandparents. (I wish I could match 2 more to this set of 4.) I found a little information online about Imperial. Does anyone know anything about this furniture maker, this table, or what value it has? I know that refinishing it probably hurt the value, but it is now lovely and will serve another generation or two of my family. I would never sell it, so the "value" is just something I wonder about.
