Hooker hardware

I purchased a beautiful Hooker bedroom set in late 2007. About 1-1/2 years later one of the drawer pulls on my husband's dressed, one of those moveable drawer handles, simply broke off when he opened a drawer....he was left holding only the handle. I attributed this to perhaps he wasn't carefully opening the drawer or only using one side (two pulls on drawer) to open. Then several more started breaking off on another dresser. They can't be put back on because the solder has broken off that holds the decorative piece on the drawer. I have 9 broken off pieces. I contacted Hooker and they told me the hardware was discontinued. I thought perhaps they would be more concerned of what seems to be a defective product regarding their hardware. I asked if they had something comparable that would fit the furniture. They e-mailed me a photo of different hardware. I wanted to order this and contacted them...nothing. I have been sending e-mails to Hooker for YEARS now with either no response or, quite frankly, a rude response. I have to change out ALL the hardware now on ALL the pieces, even those not affected because I need all the hardware to match. Their customer service doesn't seem to give a flip that five of my drawers have no hardware and have to remain open so I can get to the contents of that drawer....classy Hooker. Any suggestions of what to do or who to contact? I've tried Googling a CEO but don't see an e-mail address. I really just want working furniture again.

We also had the same thing happen to our pulls. There was a person in North Carolina who repaired pulls but it was similar to buying new pulls. My thinking was why throw good money after bad. So I am ordering new pulls. Hooker makes very poor quality pulls.

Go to the Hooker furniture website (www hookerfurniture com - add your own 'dots'...)

There is a Live Chat button at the top of the home page, you can try that.

Thank you so much. I will give this a try. Let's hope something comes out of it so I no longer have drawers without hardware that have to be left open.

Your post sounds exactly like my story!!! Our pulls just broke off when we opened a drawer. I need 5. Have you had any luck getting them replaced or finding ones that match?

Has anybody found a solution? My salesperson gave us extra pulls because they said it would happen. I have now run out of them.

If you have problematic hardware, it's often best to simply replace it with a higher grade. I do this frequently for customers. These are two companies I often use, however they will not have a replacement for every single type. These are USA and English made solid brass, not Chinese pot metal colored to a brass tone.

Do you still have the old hardware? I have the same issue and really liked what was on the furniture and would like to get the same or close. I've looked at a lot of websites but nothing looks as nice to match the furniture to what's on there now. bsarver420@gmail.com

I have the same issue with a Hooker chest of drawers I purchased in 2004. It has 8 pulls and 3 have broken off this year alone! I'm going to try the websites posted by The Keeping Room and buy replacements. Thanks for the helpful information! Good luck to everyone.

Have replaced them twice, and now a third time they've broken. The collection is discontinued. I'm at a loss.

Same story! After seeing your posts will not buy Hooker again. I thought I was buying quality! Our whole office suite of furniture is dropping pulls left and right!

I have 2 bombay chests and the pulls are all missing as well. Hooker was no help. They are an odd size too.
