I'm sure there are a million threads on this subject, but i can't seem to find any or a FAQ.

In the next year, we plan to join the rest of the world by throwing away our monstrous TV and getting a flat panel. Problem is that I have no idea where to start. I don't even know the difference b/t a plasma and a LCD! I need basic beginner info before i can even read the more advanced threads.

This forum is where i learn EVERYTHING about remodeling, gardening, etc., so i know ya'll can help!
