I wish Shabby was right, but every link I follow says I have to call for price. I just want to know if we're talking 1 grand or 3 grand without having to talk to some sales person.

Crate and Barrel makes a very similar bed for $1799.

I own this bed. Every time I make the bed I gouge my shin on the corners and stub my toes on the flared legs. Danger!

We have discontinued this bed but have replaced it with a new model that has tapered feet - that do not splay! It is the Ashbury Headboard and has optional upholstered side and foot rails. http://www.hickorychair.com/Furniture/All-Furniture/Made-To-Order-Bed-Collection/i510320-Ashbury-Headboard-Queen.aspx . As the fabric and finish are part of the price of the bed, we recommend you visiting your local authorized Hickory Chair dealer and they can assist you in personalizing a bed for your home!
