I would suggest using either stainless steel or brushed nickel pulls. They will add a little bit of brightness and shimmer to the space.

You might also try pulls to match the countertop. Most any hardware accents will brighten things up more than you realize.

Hi Rhe Anna, I agree with the suggestions of others for the silver toned hardware. This will tie the sink together and contrast beautifully with the dark wood. Are you going for a modern look? If so, I think a stainless backsplash would tie in the sinks and hardware very well and polish the whole look your kitchen. Stainless steel tiles come in a variety of shapes/sizes, and if you ever decided to replace your counter or appliances the backsplash would still tie in beautifully.

Love the stainless steel backsplash idea, but I would use sheet stainless, very plain.

If budget is a concern, I've seen galvanized metal flashing sheets used for a backsplash. Not so shiny either.

Brushed nickel round knobs and pulls would give the cabinets a touch of shine and visual interest to go with the stainless appliances.

Or those silver semi circle pulls that look vintage - beautiful!

Cabinetry hardware shown here is from Restoration Hardware - is more of an industrial chic look. With your tiles, find the tile suppliers in your home town - they ALWAYS have surplus, or discontinued stock. You can always get high quality products at rock bottom prices. Good luck

Thank you everyone for the suggestions! I ordered some of the semi circle pulls for the drawers from ATGstores.com and I got straight handles for the cabinets from Home Depot all in brushed nickel finish. I will post photos after they are installed. Marie, I am not sure on the lighting, but we will be changing most of it as it needs to be updated.
