Most of Quartz come within 10 feet . average is 55" x118" also you have take off the waster material. however some patten of Garnite can come with big slab. The bigest one I saw before is 75" x140". You may check with your local stone supplier.

Thanks for the info. I did get go to a cabinet place they checked with the stone warehouse, I was told the biggest granite/quartz comes is 10 Feet, so that basically confirmed I need to make my island no more than 10 feet. The width what do you recomment. At the this house our island is 4 x 6. I would like to make this long and narrow 3 x 10 or should be little more wide if I put seating then wider. this service is excellent I really appreciate it.

You can try Floform Artisan stone granite stone, Last project we did came with 75" x140" slab.
