Gracie- I have been to Seattle one time and some friends took me to a place called Dick's Burgers- I recall it being close to the airport and it was a walk up to the window order and you can see them making hand-cut fries.
Definitely not a fine dining restaurant but those were quite possibly the some of the best burgers and fries.

Oh that might be a great place for lunch! Thank you. I still would love nice dining ideas.

We actually always plan a layover when we fly through seattle and walk from the airport across the street and just down to the left (less than a block) is Thirteen Coins. The food is great, nice wine list, and they cater to layovers :) Prices are not outrageous, and the food is great. Casual to dressy attire is fine (they really do cater to the layover crowd). And if a martini is a mid flight treat for you, DH always gets one there as well :)

they're open for all meals and I highly recommend them

Thank you igloochic, one of my husbands friends recommended 13 Coins as well.
