Love the floor but how is the oil finish for durability and cleaning?

How do you clean - really clean - an oiled floor. My poly finished floor is so easy to clean - I just spray a microfiber cloth with windex, wipe and bingo, clean as new. But how is the oil finish on this floor? It must get a lot of wear in the passage way and dining area. It is gorgeous, though.

It wears very well. No difference with cleaning, but does show water spots if you let it stand.

Thanks - I read someplace that other things like urine (dog'r or baby's?) and alcohol would stain it too. I am wondering if such stains can be removed or if they are there forever. Do you have any idea?

Oiled floors are much harder to care for. Although they look great, they will show spots and stains, some can come out with washing, some are more permanent (like pet urine or if wet steel touches the floor).

Is your floor white oak? Can you tell me the finish name and brand? Really beautiful.
