I'm checking out this site through my son's enrollment and wanted to look at the yarn forum. Anyhoo-llama is 100% wool and can be felted. You could knit a small swatch and test it. You should felt until the stitch defination is no longer visible. I was advised to put the item in a pillowcase-good idea, you'll have a lot of loose fiber.
