Allure is considered a "bulky" yarn. Suggested needle size is 10.5, so any pattern you find that calls for bulky and a yarn needle close to that size should be fine. But I find that although some of the eyelash yarns are considered bulky, using them with a size 7 or 8 needle and considering it a worsted weight actually works fine for me. And I'm pretty sure there are lots of men's hats using those numbers out there for free. If you have trouble finding what you are looking for, let me know. I'm sure I have several that I could part with.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure I can find a pattern - maybe I'll use the one I have for a ladies Bernat Boa, and just cast on more stitches. It requires 62 sts on #9 needles. How does it sound if I cast on about 76 sts with the same size needles?
The ladies size came out perfect for me and I think I have an average sized head (some may disagree....LOL!!)

I think that should work just fine. I recently knit a hat on #9 needles with Fun Fur and it called for 60 stitches for a small ladies head. But this stuff has a lot of give, so I think you'll be okay.
