Just thought we needed some more pictures on this forum. :-) I'm making a "babyghan" at the moment for a friend who's expecting at the end of this month. I got the idea from my "63 Squares to Crochet" booklet, and just sort of pieced together stitches. My goal was to create something soft and "cushy" with all sorts of different textures for baby to explore, and to use only yarn from my stash. It's coming along nicely so far:

As soon as I get the outer pink panels (all 4 of them) done, and three more rose squares done, I'll border the edges of everything with white RH Baby Clouds yarn, and join them with single crochet for a soft, fuzzy "rib" between all the pieces, as well as a fuzzy border around the whole thing. I have closer pics of the individual stitches and panels on my blog, if anyone is interested. :-)
