The vanity is maple with a semi-transparent gray tinted stain and a rectangular under mounted sink and single lever deck mounted faucet on a concrete counter. The counter is turned up to create a splash topped with an aluminum ledge. The mirror is floating.

To recreate on a budget - paint the cabinets a nude color and mottle it with a gray glaze. Consider a laminate counter top for a flat matte finish - see Pionite's Cinder Gray Concrete. Cultured marble is also a good inexpensive alternative - consider a honed finish so it's not super glossy - no integrated sinks! Whatever you decide stick with a straight edge. If you use a laminate don't apply directly to the wall - instead have them mount a 1x4 as the splash and cover the exposed surfaces with the laminate. Use basic tab pulls or something similar. To float the mirror, glue a sheet mirror to 1 or 2 layers of 3/4" plywood leaving 3" of exposed mirror on all sides so you don't see the edge of the plywood when you peak around the front. You can cut the plywood at a 45 degree angle and paint the edge of the plywood to match the wall to support this illusion. Mount it to the wall - be sure to find studs.

I hope these ideas get you started. Good luck! -S
