I am knitting a little sweater for my daughter. The instructions for the left front tell you to bind off three stitches at the beginning of a row, in order to form the armhole. That works fine, because I just bind off and then continue knitting the rest of the row.

The directions for the other (right) side of the sweater tell you to reverse the increases and decreases. So that means at the end of the row in question, I am supposed to bind off the last three stitches, right? But that means I have to cut my yarn and begin all over with new yarn.

It gets really hairy at the top of the piece with the shoulder seam, because there are only 8 stitches and you are binding off several times at the end of the row.

Am I doing something wrong?
