A request from JoMo over at the KT forum:

"Do any of you have instructions for a knitted petal block? If you do would you please share with me I used to have the pattern and I thought I never would forget it. Boy was I wrong.

You start at a corner with 3 sts. First row: K 1, , k1. I'm not sure exactly how to proceed but you continue to add sts until you have half of the block made. You then decrease until you finish the block. The block will have a raised petal diagonal over 2 thirds of the block. You sew 4 of the blocks together and have a raised 4 petaled flower. I'm sorry I can't make it any clearer."
