here's one - I had to look for the link since I had the paper copy that I picked up in AC Moore last year - it's done in motifs but creates the tumbling blocks effect

That looks really complicated. I have tried crocheting from a graph before and never seem to place the yarn in the right spot for the next row. What's the secret?

don't know if there is a secret - I am sure someone else can help with that but in addition to the graph, there are directions so I think you could just use those and have the graph as backup
