It was the first bag I made and I love how it came out - I got to use up two very rough yarns from my stash and they were perfect for the bag - it came out looking almost like a colorful burlap. I want to try to make it again, but enlarge it so that I can stick a magazine and some books inside.

Deb, your "Sophie" bag sounds great. I always liked the handle on this purse and the a-line shape.
