I like woolease and have used it for one pair of socks. It was the second pair of socks I have made. They turned out soft and warm but too big. I don't think it's the yarn's fault they are too big, but rather my inexperience with socks is to blame. They are soft and warm and I wear them for slipper socks or to bed. They are a bit slippery on the hard floors, though.

No socks, but I've used it for a sweater. It's really soft and nice, but itchy! I'm not a wool person, I guess - not much need for it in Florida! :)

I have used the sport weight version for socks - nothing but praise from my daughter who was the recipient.
