Thanks, Tami! They just SPOIL her, so I want to spoil them for a change! Unfortunately, the Paton's "Brilliant" shreds, so I can't make the fringe out of it, so I'm considering gathering the edges and tying a nice coordinating bead or two on, like a tassel. I do like finished edges. I also like sparklies, which is why I have a ton of beads from my jewellry-making!

I'm making scarves for christmas etc. I'm using lion brand Homespun yarn (nice and soft). One skein is enough I'm using one color. I'm simply knit stitch the entire thing on large (size 11?) needles to make "holy" webbed type scarf. At the end I've attached long fringe with beads (I've been using glass beads..... like cracked glass) in corresponding colors. I've made a couple and given away and so far they are a hit.

LOVE the idea of the glass beads!! I thought to do that with these scarves, as the Paton's "Brilliant" shreds, so cannot be used as fringe.

Congrats! And yes...love that Homespun yarn, too! I'm a sucker for snuggly yarns..I should just knit up a pillow in "Divine" and call it a day! haha!!

Homespun makes pretty scarves but yes I think it would make nice home items. It could make a great snuggly blanket. :)
