thanks for the pattern and the link. the one my daughter is talking about the scarf is fairly long and pockets are made at the end of each scarf. She wants it rather heavy stitches as she is also talking of lining the hood part with a fleece to keep it even warmer.

What about a knitted pattern for a hooded scarf? That would be great!
