I'm sure most of you have already discovered these sites but I was told on the Garden Party forum to pass this info. to this forum. Spinayarn.com is a delightful site in Edmonds WA and the other is Knitpicks.com in Vancouver. What really pleases me is the fact that both charge just enough postage to get the job done-no extra handling charges. They are both located in WA state. Must be a nice honest bunch of people there.

I find it hard to imagine buying yarn on line. I'm one of those folks who just has to touch everything!

Every summer I make a pilgrimage to Halcyon Yarns in Bath, Maine. And having been there and touched a lot of their stuff, I will sometimes order from them on line. Their store is fabulous!
