we just looked at the installation instructions and they state that we need to install a brace between two studs (under the sheetrock) for the mounting plate to hang on! we already have our tile backsplash in place! we can't open up the wall now. do we have to open up the wall on the backside (laundry room) to install this hood? anyone run into this and figured out another way to install without putting in a wood brace?
