While you have some obstacles with door openings, sliding door, etc, I think you could actually make the space far more functional than it is currently laid out.

The first thing I would do is plan to put your counter depth refrigerator on the wall between your room openings. If you could add even a few inches of wall space, you could have the cabinetry on that wall "house" your refrigerator (with cabinets on top) and an 18" pantry next to it. If you could add more to that wall, your pantry could become a 21" pantry. It really just depends on how much smaller you would be willing to make your family room opening. Having the refrigerator "encased" in the cabinetry, the pantry being a part of it, will give you a clean, built-in look.
Then, because your refrigerator is no longer on the wall it is currently on, you have all that room for your 30" slide in range and a few different options of surrounding upper/lower cabinetry. You have 96" inches of space for your lowers. Subtract the 24" from the corner and the 30" range, and that leaves you 42". I typically like to use a supersusan base cabinet in the corner, but that always takes up 12" on each side of the corner of the perimeter...and I think you could better use that 12" in the way of other cabinetry. On that range wall, you could put a 12" "sheet pan" cabinet (no drawer on top) in the corner, then your range, then a 30" bank of drawer bank for pots/pans. OR, you could put the 30" range between (2) 21" drawer banks (very symmetrical looking!).
On your sink wall, if you use a 33" sink cabinet, that can leave room to the right of it for a 21" pull-out trash cabinet with a drawer (silverware) above. To the left of your sink cabinet, you can place your new dishwasher. Next to that, I would put another 21"drawer bank in, and THEN.....I would have the counter continue 24 more inches further down the wall where---at that point---it can jut out 18" into a small peninsula. A carpenter can build a base using cabinetry veneers to cover, as support. Your countertop would hang over 12" for the seating. Two stools can sit on the side where the slider is, one stool can sit at the end. This will also provide extra prep/baking area. The key to this working, however, is your sliding door latch being positioned at the far end, sliding left to right.
For your uppers, you can use up every inch of wall space except where your window and hood area. Btw, if you have a gas range, use a 36" hood. On the sink wall, I would put an upper microwave cabinet in somewhere to the left of the window (being sure not to allow any cabinetry to run past beginning of peninsula.
You can place a kitchen table/chairs in the open area. Just keep it on the narrow side so that there is plenty of clearance behind the chairs.
