My revised drawing. The window should be centered on the north wall and the sink should be centered on that. I'd like to keep it there so I will have a better view. I can move things around except the exterior walls since it is new addition. I also moved the refrigerator to the east wall since it would be more accessible for guests. I changed the shape of the island.

I like the new location of the sink much better than the original. However, ensure that you will have adequate space between the DW when open and the island. Also, I wonder about centering the window. The way the two windows align in the corner in the original drawing will let in a ton of light and is a very charming look. I haven't seen the rest of the plan so it's a little hard to judge how it might affect things overall.

Will you still have a prep sink on the island? Slightly off the corner near the fridge looks like a good spot--would maintain a drop spot for cold items, provide another prep spot, and give access to water as well as fridge from the dining area.
I also like the double windows in the corner--consider keeping that placement with the sink as you moved it.

VanillaCottage- I would love to see pictures of your kitchen. Do you have any pictures to share? The walk way space from the island to the perimeter countertops will be 4 ft so there should be no issues with the dishwasher and the island. The designers drawing has windows on the north and west wall of equal size (approx 7.5 ft total length). In my design I was thinking to move the window on the north wall to the center. I moved the oven to the west wall which will make me have a smaller window. Do you think it would be better to keep original placement of the windows and just center the sink to that?

Junco- Yes, I will have a prep sink in the island. I originally thought of placing it somewhere in between the fridge and cook top. But your idea is great too. I love having the windows on that meet in the corners but unless I move the oven somewhere else I'd have to get a smaller window or remove it all together. Thoughts?

I'm attaching the overall floorplan. There have been some modifications ie changing the butlers pantry to a walk in pantry and adding a powder room to some of the old butlers pantry.

Also posted the elevation drawings of the kitchen so you can see how the windows are placed in the designers design.

I am not one of the layout experts, but I would consider leaving the wall ovens where you moved them to the end of the west wall cabinet run--which looks out on the patio?
Then put in windows to fill the corner with the north wall. Place your sink at the end of the windows on the north wall. Don't worry about centering anything. I'm not sure which side of the sink would be best for your DW. Drawers on that end or side of the island for dish storage.
I think placement of the prep sink between cooktop and fridge as you planned would be fine. Maybe consider a MW drawer on the side of the island facing the dining area.
This would give you a good spot for a baking center on the west wall. Not sure if this puts the ovens too far away from the rest of the cooking area.
