Thoughts on a tile that’ll go with the other part of the kitchen I have currently (the 6x6 ) white tile

We went through a similar kitchen refresh a few years back, so I can relate. With glossy white 6x6s like yours, a plain white subway-style tile is honestly hard to beat -- it stays calm and won't fight the existing tile.

The thing that made the biggest difference for us was the grout. Pick one that's very close in color to the tile itself, a soft warm white rather than a bright white or a gray, so you don't get strong grid lines competing with the 6x6s. Keep the new tile the same height as what's already there and in the same glossy finish, and check the undertone against your countertop: if the counter reads warm, lean warm white; if it reads cool gray, lean cool white.

Done that way it'll read as intentional instead of patched together, and it's about as easy and simple as a backsplash gets.

More photos . I do have this backsplash a friend has given there was leftover but unsure about the mosaic tile going with the space .

You were planning to change out the backsplash, removed a portion, and decided not to tear it all out and replace, is that the case? Then I'd put back the same that you removed, rather than randomly having a different backsplash in one weird spot.
