I've been taking the NutriCology supplement for a full week now, and woman lemme tell ya - my hot flashes have reduced significantly! I've gone from having over 25 a day to maybe 5 or 6, which is a HUGE improvement. Now, I can't say with certainty that this is attributable solely to the supplement, or whether it was simply time for my flashing to wane a bit (these intense episodes seem to occur on a somewhat cyclical basis), but I do find it rather interesting that the cessation of flashing coincided exactly with (and quickly after I started) taking the supplements. I plan to continue taking them until my appointment with my new holistic practitioner in December (finally found one that takes my insurance - yay!), but I am wondering if taking the higher dosage than is recommended on the label might have any contraindication that you've read or heard about - ? I haven't found a lot about this stuff online, but did find some info, and it's supposedly not recommended as a long-term measure. Just curious how long you've been taking it, how long you plan to take it, and if you have any other info that you could share or direct me towards.
Of course, I'm really not thrilled with what it is and how it's made ... but I'm honest enough to admit that my hot flashes have made me so miserable that I'm willing to do whatever it takes to alleviate them.
Thanks, Fly!
