ok maybe will move the tv/fp. I keep forgetting to mention that is not the front foor,,,,sorry. The original owner had it as his front door, but we moved the house to our yard and turned it. We actually have our main entrance in our porch area off the kitchen.

I think I would move the fireplace and tv. They seem somewhat disconnected from the room, like there sitting in the passage way of the door. Paper either wall.

Alright finally decided. Not going to move the tv/fp and I am going to paper behind them. Found an example on here stating you should paper the wall you see when you enter the room. Satin Stripe you mentioned that as well. That is not our main entrance. We enter the room from the spot I am taking the photo from....thx for the tips.

You already have a busy print fabric on the furniture; I'd rethink the paper.

I would use my judgment and taste.

I would not put that lovely wallpaper on that wall.

what about this idea?? Just the wall and closet doors OR painting the doors the same as the walls (grey) and then there will be white trim.

I would paint all the doors and trim white. The walls a soft shade of grey pulled from your wall paper or drapes. Paper only the fireplace wall if you keep it there. With the traffic going right in front of the fireplace to those two doors, I would think about moving the tv and fireplace to the opposite wall. Float your furniture facing the big wall. Put a large area rug under the couch and it won't feel like it is floating. Put some kind of credenza, storage unit, narrow cabinet on the current tv wall. It could be tall to balance the tv on the big wall opposite. It is has open shelving, you could even wallpaper the inside wall of the cabinet to match.
