love, love, love them!!! that's why i take the time to hang them every year! and, it always makes me sad to see them disappear after the holidays... i usually light mine through much of january, GRADUALLY taking them down over a couple of weeks or more-lol.

a jewish family in our neighborhood put up lots of icicle lights this year! i think i would do the same if i weren't christian!

Yes!! It is amazing how festive lights are - they are the "diamonds" of Christmas. Larger cities are always decorated to the max, but what I find interesting at this time of the years is driving through the small towns and communities and admiring their holiday decorating. So many beautiful nativity scenes, the street lights, and the small shop windows.

Tuesday

Tuesday - I have been on the search for a smallish outdoor nativity. I have seen some beautiful ones around here. My hubby could build the "stable" and I would have to have a star LOL. I have a good friend watching for one - she yard sales weekly - so hopefully she'll find one. I live in a small town - fairly rural but there are some subdivisions scattered about and I've noticed more lights than usual this year.

I enjoy Christmas/Holiday lights that are done well. Random strings of lights sloppily hung do nothing for me. And I don't care for the bluish led lights. They do make warm white led lights now that look much better.
