Well, I don't know about reasonably priced, but by far the ones that last the longest (years) without bulb or housing or other problems, are the Jerdon mirrors.

Right now I have a Conair, heavy metal, lighted halo, and it's about two years old.

The metal are preferable to the plastic housing for me in both looks, they don't tip over, look as dirty as white plastic, and last longer.

At Bed Bath and Beyond they carry both, and other brands, and aren't too bad with a 20% coupon. They come in different price ranges, sizes and styles. I gave each of my daughters one last Christmas.

Thanks Demifloyd I'll check them out!

I have one from Frontgate that I adore. It was a bit expensive but I got it when it was on sale.

I have been using Floxite mirrors for 10+ years. The lighting and magnification is beyond the norm. Have 3 of them as I kept going up in mag. Bought them over time from Tuesday Morning for $20 each. They are shown online at $50, but ebay has them for 30. You prompted me to search and am going to buy the 15X. I'm old and need all the help necessary. Options are from 6X to 15X. Electric and battery combos for travel.

I tried the halo mirrors and didn't find them as good at lighting. Also the Floxlite has replaceable bulbs. About once a year you would need one. After finding these to be expensive online, I did a search and found they are carried by the auto stores for .90 a piece vs $4.

Just writing this I realized I should buy them for my sons and daughter. Hadn't thought about this and know they use the mirror whenever visiting.

Thanks so much Emagineer, you addressed all of my concerns especially after reading several reviews about irreplaceable bulbs with some of the brands.

15x is good magnification, don't worry, we all need all the help we can get! Too funny! I see this brand has a large selection on Amazon as well. Fantastic!
