    The shingles are made by CertainTeed, Landmark series, color is Cottage Red.

    I see two different Cottage Red by CertainTeed - Landmark "Independence" Designer or just Landmark Designer series. The "Independence" are more expensive. One seems to have more variation in the coloration than the other. Do you know which one you used?

    There was only one option when this project was built. There is not much variation in the product we used, so my guess would be it's the Landmark Independence. However the variation in color may make a great looking red roof too. Personally I like shingles that have some variation in their color, it creates a slight patina for the roof mass instead of looking so monochromatic.
