Looking for comfortable reading chair

I have a small office and am wanting to add a reading 'nook' there. An inviting place with a good lamp and a comfortable, 'snuggle into' kind of chair. I do a lot of reading and want comfort. Would love to see pictures of the chairs you use for reading and/or any recommendations. I don't think I have the room for a chair and a half although I would love one, so it needs to be smaller scale than that.

what is your style? Do you have a picture of the space?

I'd like to get a chair with rolled arms - I guess more of a transitional style. I love the chairs they have at Starbucks - its the style I'd love to go for. The room is a mess currently so I'm reluctant to take a photo...besides which I'm looking to redo it and hoping to replace what is in it. The room is 9' X 11' and has one window. I'd like to keep a desk, file cabinets and bookcase in there and then add a chair to the corner.

Perhaps something like this one? With an ottoman .... and a standing lamp and small table to hold things? ((and a basket to hold reading materials and cozy blankets))

I'm attaching a link to the chair style I like. I just have not heard such great reviews about Pottery Barn furniture so have been reluctant to go that route. Any thoughts on where I could find a similar style chair that is better made?

wigardener,

I also have a small office space where I have a reading chair. The chair I ended up with is the one that clashes with the flooring in our new house so I didn't want it anyplace else. It's also not really a style I would use elsewhere in my house. I do love how functional it is however for my reading space. It's a small LazyBoy recliner. It doesn't tilt back much so I can have it close to the wall. I love footstools but there's really no space so the footrest on the recliner solves that problem also. I just took a pic for you because your room description reminded me so much of mine. It's not a decorator room. It has my bears, my computer, small tv, my books (in a bookcase DH made for me), reading chair and lamp, complete with my Jeff Gordon blanket for warmth. It's MY little haven, and I just put stuff in here that I like. I've been curled up in the recliner all afternoon with a book and the blanket. The chair is perfect for me. Just wish it was a different color...lol.

I have the perfect chair for you: www.huggmee.com
This chair is designed for readers who like to sling a leg or two over the arm and for small rooms. It takes very little space when placed in a corner.
Someone found a blog on it and bought a chair and was delighted with it.
