This is a new home build, and we are thinking about putting in some recessed ceiling lights, but we have concerns about spiders getting into those fixtures The attic is directly above where they will be installed.

I want to know if it's possible for spiders to get into recessed ceiling lights from an attic. Of course, we're not even sure how much spider activity the home will have, but we want to avoid creating a place where spiders can gain access to the living areas.

Where we live now in an older home, we have flush-mounted dome lights, and spiders definitely get into them from the attic above.
