Please help with rug

Ok, DH is gonna kill me!! I have moved this rug back & forth from sitting room to DR about 4 times already!! That credenza in sitting room is HEAVY!! I have tried to go without rugs under my tables in kitchen & DR - just can't....dust bunnies multiply well, like rabbits!! LOL I am lazy & I'd rather not see the dust/dirt that 3 dogs/kids produce in a house.

So my thinking......6x9 is cheaper than 8x10. I'd like to stay under $300. Been searching around on Overstock. Any opinions or anyone have anything to add?

Drapes & slipcovers...

1. Brown border with accents or ivory, red, green & beige $209

I'll stop there.....Is there anything that jumps out at you?

The good or bad thing about my house is that everything works in different rooms so I can switch back & forth to my DH's dismay!! He thinks I am nuts...but, ya'll understand don'tcha??!! And I am trying to save money:)

I LOVE number 4, and can envision that with those beautiful side chairs.........

I'm liking #3 as first choice, and #1 as second choice. Would steer clear of #4. You already have such 'calmness' going and think the drapery panels are enough punch. JMO.

Hee hee.....out of 3 replies all 5 rugs were mentioned!! Why can't it be easier than that or am I not going in the right direction??

Yikes! Of course you're going in the right direction. That's why there were so many different rugs mentioned.

I didn't reply because I liked them all. We have similar taste.

I actually like #4 a lot and it appears to have red. But no fringe, :(. #2 might have a shocking green. 1, 3 and 5 are all nice and look pretty safe, too.

I think you could choose any one of them -- and don't look back! It's hard to tell with individual computer monitors, but -- just pick one! Those beautiful chairs will pull it all together.

I like #4, and I would get the smaller size rug.

I think #4 rug will pick up the red that is in your chairs and look beautiful. Lovely room.

Number 4 will harness the room really well because it seems like there's heavy "warm" lighting which will be accentuated by the rug. However, you'll have to see what it looks like or consider something lighter/more ivory.

Too much gold tone may get washed out from the light and therefor feel overwhelming. I would go with something closer to the shade of the furniture's ivory, with top colors of a nice warm antique tones.

The rug that is there is no good?

I like 2, 3 and 5! the best. I love your sitting room so much, I enjoyed looking at it again tonight!

I am so scared to order online for a rug. I did it once & had to send it back a long time ago.

There seems to be more for #4....we'll see.
