I've seen questions on converting cans to pendants, but what about installing pendants far apart in the first place? I'd like to have three lights in my kitchen ceiling without having to install cans. Would a pendant need a stud for support? Are pendants on a track? Can I install three lights 4 to 6 feet apart, wired on the same switch?
