Bathroom question...

I posted this in bathrooms, but figure since its a color question, here might be appropriate as well.

We're just starting to get ideas to remodel our small master bath. In this bath, there is a neo-angle (actually, it's a curved) corner shower, toilet and sink...all to the right of the door, in that order. The shower base and the toilet will be the only thing that remains after the remodel (not attached to the toilet, although it's fairly new as is the shower and would like to work around it if I can). The previous owner installed these a few years before we moved in.

Anyway, the toilet and shower base are almond color. I on the other hand have a preference for white fixtures. But the shower is staying and if it stays, it makes sense that the toilet does as well since they match correct?

My question is this: I would like to do white beadboard 1/2 way up the walls (traditional height). Would this look odd with the almond fixtures? I'd try to get a sink to match the almond color as close as I can.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. We're picking tile this weekend for the floor. Looking in to a slate-look tile as I would like to put a slate blue above the beadboard. Or possibly a mosaic tile of almond with varigated colors and some white thrown in?
