Perhaps Lowes? They sell some Waverly and other brands as well that are nice imo. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I sew, so always make my own valences and window treatments, but have had to order treatments for rental property we own, and have always liked the quality and variety of choices from Country Curtains. You might give them a try. They can also do custom sizes on specific treatments, if necessary.

I agree with the suggestion of County Curtains, they have a good selection of valances as well as other WTs and I find the quality to be very good. I always receive good customer service as well.

I bought these valances from Fabric Workroom in November. They are really pretty. Heavy material and lined.

Here they are in my dining room at Thanksgiving.

At the same time, I bought this valance at Country Curtains for my kitchen window. It is absolutely gorgeous. Sorry I don't have a photo of my kitchen.

Thanks people! I have a country curtain catalog and things looked great but I just didn't know if I should order without seeing in person. I appreciate your comments and sources. Redsox, thanks for the other link too. (I hope that since I'm a Yankee fan - from NJ - won't affect your advice :) Your valances are beautiful and would both really work well for me - I have seen the one in Country Curtains and admired it. I had something more simple in my head, but I just love the one you chose. I had admired it for when we had a gold/yellow theme, but since we went with a neutral/sand color, thought to change direction, but I'm really loving your choice. Thinking....................

Another Country Curtains fan here. I've been really pleased with the quality of the fabric and how well they are made.

You don't have to abandon your thoughts of keeping the look simple by going with them. Check through their catalog and their website, a number of their valances come in simple, tailored styles.

Don't forget about JC Penneys website. If you check out window treatments, they have a specific category for valances. Many of their drapery styles come with one or more valance styles that are sold separately.

Thanks everybody for the comments.
